Pensacola Beach
We went to Pensacola Beach this weekend with friends and had a really great time. It was a beautiful place to stay, and our friends were very generous to share their space with us. As you can see, the view was beautiful. We basically stayed by the pool all day and returned on Sunday. It was a nice, short trip!

July 15, 2006
In our attempts to "make room" for our new additions, we had a garage sale this weekend. When I say "we" I mean "me!" Gary helped me drag all the stuff out at 6:30 a.m., and we had people show up ready to shop! People really do make a hobby out of garage sale hopping! It was really hot outside, and Gary would occasionally peak his head through the blinds to make sure the "freaky people" weren't getting me. It really wasn't that bad, and we got rid of all the stuff we don't need! Now we can start looking into nursery decorating!

Taylor's party
Taylor had her 2nd birthday party at a small waterpark on Saturday. There were pools, fountains, slides, and all sorts of fun things to do for the kids and grown-ups! There were lots of people there including family and friends. Lesley and Nick rented the place for a couple of hours, so everyone ate pizza, cake, and had a great time! Taylor blew out her candle and splashed around the whole time!
Ultrasound
We had our 3rd ultrasound Friday (July7th), and we are 11 weeks, 3 days. The ultrasound tech had a roomful, because Mom, Dad, Gary, and I accompanied Lesley to the appointment! It is still too early to tell gender, but it was fun seeing the action! Baby A was wiggling like he/she was dancing, doing flips, putting hands under chin as if to pose! It was very funny. I think Lesley taught all those tricks. I am going to attach a copy of the pictures, but it is much easier to see on the video we took. They still look like little aliens, but you could see the fingers, hands, heads, eyes, etc. I have never been very good at deciphering these things! Baby B was just hanging out sleeping. I can't imagine how you could sleep with your "womb"mate carrying on like that, but he/she did! We even tried to wake Baby B up, and he/she wouldn't budge. The heartbeat and growth looked good, and Lesley FINALLY gets to stop taking the progesterone shots! I am sure she is thrilled about that. Thanks to everyone for all your thoughts and prayers!

We went to Dallas for Taylor's birthday and the next ultrasound. Taylor was a real ham with the camera! She carried it around asking everyone to take a picture of her. Very funny! You can see her little "poses" in the pictures, but she is just a happy (and busy) girl! More to come about the birthday party!

Quarter, July 1, 2006
Pete and Teresa came for a quick trip to N.O.! We met them and their friends Danny and Val in the Quarter on Saturday night. We had some fabulous food at the Alibi. My BBQ shrimp salad had no less than 30 shrimp on it, and Gary's hamburger appeared to be bigger than his head! We had a wonderful time visiting, and I wish we were able to see them more often! Pete felt like he had to be on his best behavior, since he knew he would be making the Napolitano blogger! I think that is great incentive for Teresa to have her own site!
