Everyone had to hold their "Easter dollar" up that Nanna left for them. Taylor and Reese enjoyed dressing up in similar clothes, since Nanna got them identical outfits. Now everyone has a twin!

Family Visit

Lesley, Mom, and Taylor came to visit this weekend, so we stayed really busy! The kids had such a great time playing together, hunting eggs, and going to the parade. I think the biggest hit was the St. Patrick's Day parade. Taylor came home with more dirt on her face than what was on the ground! She caught lots of good prizes, and Lesley was lucky enough to get to pack them up and take them back to Dallas!

Brady's surgery

We have been battling ear infections for several months now, so Brady had to go get ear tubes and have his adenoids removed. We were a little nervous about how he might wake up after the surgery, but that little stinker didn't shed a tear all day! He played with some of the other ENT candidates in the holding area until it was our turn, and we were only in the pre-op area about 20 minutes until it was time for him to go! Phyllis was our Child Life angel and took him back for us. He got a little bit of the drunk look going after the versed, but he separated really well from Gary and I. When he woke up, he immediately took some juice, with the occasional talking to the juice bottle. He laid in my arms for a little while, and then he wanted up to play with the IV. I really couldn't believe it. Actually, yes I can after all the prayers that were said by family and friends. I will attach some pictures. We still haven't had any problems, and I don't think he really needs to pain medication. He has had a normal diet and played like crazy since being home, so we are really relieved it is over. Thank you all for your prayers!

Welcome home Uncle Joey!

I have a lot of catching up to do! Uncle Joey returned home after 3 months of training for his new position, so we all went to eat dinner to welcome him back. Reese and Brady had a great time with all the toys that Aunt Wendy pulled out, and the baby-proofed house helped Gary and I have a good time, too!
