Reese and Merrin

I pretty much chased Reese and Merrin all over the house trying to get a picture. One would cooperate, the other wouldn't. I actually ended up with several precious pictures. Joey and Wendy bought beautiful dresses for them in China, so we wanted to get them in a picture together. They sure looked pretty! The picked the perfect colors for each of them (Joey takes credit for that!)

The After Party

If you are wondering why there aren't very many pictures of Brady in these pictures, it is because he had a complete meltdown as soon as we stepped in the house for the party. It was just one of those things where we had no idea what he wanted, and HE had no idea what he wanted. It wasn't pretty for awhile. However, once he was able to spy on the neighbors (hid behind the trash can), open and close the front door (over and over), and eat chips, he settled down. Whew. I thought I was going to lose my mind.

At the church

Merrin was precious. She danced in front of everyone (she definitely has rhythm)! She swatted at the priest a couple of times, but he did come at her several times with oil and water. I am sure she was a little annoyed, since she didn't understand the significance. It was so perfect, it could have been scripted! I couldn't take any pictures during the service, but I got a few after.

Waiting for Merrin's Christening

Some of the best pictures are the impromptu . . . You can tell the kids were cooperative and delightful still at this point. How quickly things can change!

The Cheese

Well, Benton won the most tickets at Chuck E Cheese. However, he did not express interest in ever going back. I think at one point he looked at me and said, "This is crazy!" He may go back if he doesn't have 3 toddlers with him!

Playing with Piper

It was so awesome to see the kids play so well together. We have a hard enough time keeping Brady and Reese from killing each other, so we were grateful that Piper left unscathed. We were hoping to go to the Alligator Festival on Saturday, but the rain eliminated that option. We ended up at good ole Chuck E Cheese. The kids were just as happy! Brady, Reese, and Piper made smoothies together, danced, sang, and made alot of noise.

We are hoping to see Katie, Benton, and Piper again before they had back to West Texas!

City Park

The kids were pretty funny with some of the figures. They kept trying to wake up sleeping beauty, and the big bad wolf was a scary surprise. They both went down the huge alligator slide. Reese chose to go down with Charlie. I'm sure he seemed a little more stable than I did. That was one fast slide!

Clare and Kaitlyn's Birthday Party

The kids and I went to Storyland for the birthday party last weekend while Daddy stayed home to watch the Saints game. I am sure this is a shocker to you all, since Daddy is usually the first one to sign up to take the kids to parties (note sarcasm). The kids had a wonderful time. We usually only go to City Park during Celebration in the Oaks, so it was fun to go and let them run around in the daytime. It is a really neat place, but still really hot.

Dress Up

Our neighbors came over to play for a little while yesterday afternoon. The theme turned into "dress up," which is one of my favorites. The kids thought they looked fabulous! I agreed.

Picnic Pictures

Picnic after play group

The kids love Thursdays! Of course, every day is exciting! They go to CDO M,W,F, Bible Study Tuesday, and Play group at the family center Thursdays. We are tired by Saturday, but that is when Daddy is ready to go.

They enjoyed this picnic/play time after the group. It was a little too warm for me, but hopefully it will cool down soon. That will make these trips much more tolerable!
