It's the Wiggles!

The day we have been waiting for finally arrived . . . The Wiggles! We tricked Daddy
into thinking he was going to a KISS concert, and slipped into the Wiggles! We had fun even before the show, and bought all kinds of unnecessary crud. I don't think the pictures could ever reflect how ridiculously fun the whole scene was!

The Response

If you have noticed by now the "stunned" look on my childrens' faces, you are correct. I think they spent the entire 1 1/2 hours just staring at the stage. That is the longest they have stayed still EVER! I am not sure if they thought they were in Wiggle land, on TV, or just on a different planet. When the music would end, you would hear a ton of kids screaming and crying! Apparently not all children relish the Wiggles like we do! Maybe it was just too overwhelming for them. Not Brady and Reese. They held their feathersword and guitar like they were the next 2 additions to the Wiggle crew. Not much dancing involved . . . just a little swaying with our mouths gaping open (particularly Brady).

Wiggly Wind Down

It was a little hard to wind down from the Wiggles hype once we got home. We all still had that "vibe" on our brains. Say hello to Captain Feathersword . . . the x rated version. Dr. Reese chose to chart on her patient instead of playing Dorothy the Dinosaur.

VBS kick off

We went to Jonathan and Phyllis' church VBS kick off this morning, and Brady and Reese had a great time. Brady loved climbing in and out of Jonathan's kayak, and he even tried the bouncy castle for a little while. Reese thought she might like the bouncy castle, but changed her mind when her delicate tush bit the dust. No injuries, just drama. Bubbles outside were a big hit, and they had hot dogs for lunch! What a day!

Hats

I just wanted to post a few pictures I took from playing "hats" the other night. Everyone gets to wear one (including baby).

Dinner with the Bertaut Family

Brady and Reese were invited to have dinner with Emma, Evan, and the rest of the Bertaut gang on Saturday night. We are always up for pizza, so Gary and I tagged along (we know who the true guests were!). All the kids have grown so much since they last played, but we had a wonderful time. My kiddos tore up there house, and showed them how the Napolitano's love to eat! They definitely got that from Gary and I! We shot some cute pics while visiting!

Playing with Piper

It was so nice to see my children playing with my best friend's child. They had such a good time screaming at the top of their lungs and running around my parents' house! Sweet headache. They were really so adorable together that it makes it much harder to leave from our visit!

Ragan and Justin

Thank you both so much for entertaining us during our visit. We really enjoyed the pool, your new home, and we look forward to our new family addition in October! You guys were very generous, and we had a wonderful time!

Visit from friends

We were so lucky to have Tiffany and her fiance Vance drive from Amarillo to visit! They had to pick up their boys from Tiff's Mom, so it was perfect timing! Nanna and Papa graciously gave us time alone and took the kiddos to their home after dinner, and Ragan and Justin let us hang out at their house for the evening! It was great to see HS and college friends. It was just like we never left!

Playing at Nanna's and Papa's

Lots to do at Nanna and Papa's house! It was so beautiful outside while we visited, the kids wanted to be out there all the time! Who could blame them?

4th of July

We were lucky enough to celebrate Lesley's BIG birthday with her (we won't mention which one!). We also had family portraits made, and so we are looking forward to seeing those since it is always fun to have 2 toddlers cooperate! They were very interested in the rabbits that were brought out, and Brady even decided that they could be pulled up by their ears! Not a good idea. Reese actually held one, too, even though it was mule kicking her. I was very surprised. I think she just imagined that one of her stuffed animals came to life! She loves those things!

It was a great day, and everyone had fun.

Old Neighborhood BBQ!

We were invited over for a BBQ with our good friends and old neighbors in Greenwood on Thursday. It was a really good time, and great to see new grandchildren and good friends. The kids had a great time in the wagon and running around the yard. Taylor was great playing with Brady and Reese, but Reese was a little suspicious of the swing!
