Pictures from Aunt Lisa and Uncle Bill's house!

Aunt Lisa is so incredibly talented! I was able to see her at Wendy's shower last night, and she gave me a disc of some pictures that she took when we visited for Mother's day. She does such a great job of capturing the kids' true spirit. As a mother, that is what you love to see the most. There are also some gorgeous pictures of Cameron and their amazing backyard! I also like the one that someone shot with Reese lounging in the chair in front. She chose not to stand with "the girls," so that is why the picture is crooked!

Thank you, Lisa for being such a great aunt and sister-in-law!

Father's Day

Party with the Heinz family!

I didn't have too many pictures from Saturday, because we were in the pool the whole time. Brady LOVED the little waterfall at the end of the pool. I think he could have stayed there all night!

Zoo

I think we aren't ever going to be allowed in to the little cafe in the zoo again. Brady started off our adventure by spilling my water in the middle of the area where everyone was getting their food. We scrambled to clean, obviously the staff there have vision impairment, because not a single person offered to help. They must have comprehension issues, too, because I asked for a towel (napkins weren't cutting it), and they told me no. Hummmm. We move on to pay. Brady pulls the entire tray (with drinks and food) down on top of him and Reese. The screaming begins. Once again . . . no towels. Who are these people? Well, this time I left it. I warned everyone in line behind me not to slip and fall, because they do not have towels in the cafe, so I think I saved some lives. I showed my appreciation for all their help by stripping my (screaming) children down in the middle of the dining area and changing their clothes. I almost started the diapers, but I refrained.

Altogether, it was a great trip to the zoo :) My friend Holly asked, "Do you do this all the time?"

Playing with the Wilkinsons!

Our kids had a great time with Bailey, Jae, Katlin, and Madison. It was like they have been buddies forever! It was great, because Brady and Reese are usually a little leary of new situations! Teresa probably has some good pictures of them seeing the miniature horse and petting the penguin at the aquarium, but I think they had just as much fun playing at the house!

Clare comes over to play!

We missed you, Clare!

Roller Girl

Bugs, anyone?

Yummy! How about these delectable treats? At the end of our Insectarium visit (which was awesome), we stopped by the Bug Appetit Cafe for a snack. Brady at a "cricket beignet." Of course, he didn't know what he was eating. He actually liked it so much that he snatched Gary's out of his hands and ate it! I tried to get Reese to eat a "cookie" (fried caterpillar), but she was on to me. I had a cream cheese dip with crickets, and the cinnamon fried caterpillar. We did not eat the salsa that is posted here. It looked simply nasty. The other stuff looked kind of normal! I strongly suggest you go to the Insectarium next time you are in N.O.!

Insectarium Pictures

Insectarium-Brady's Favorites

Brady LOVED the ladybug car. He danced in it, and would not get out. As a matter of fact, he is in several family pictures with people we don't know. I guess they didn't mind that they had a little "Waldo" intruder in their family photos! He also thought the machine that acted like a spider was biting you was funny. Of course, he didn't want to put his hand under it, but he thought it was hysterical when Gary did! Reese and I could hear him from the other side of the building. He had a great time exploring!

Insectarium-Reese's Favorites

Reese was not fond of the dark bug tunnel, but she liked the "bug cartoon" and the bumblebee game!
