Phyllis and Jonathan were kind enough to take some pictures for us during the ceremony, so here they are!

Family Birthday party pictures

The birthday girl's uncle was kind enough to send a family picture of us from the party, since there is usually at least one person missing from the shots. Gary is not real fond of his picture, but looking a little tired goes along with the parenting territory!

9 Month appointment

We had our 9 month appointment today, and everything went well. I had prepared Brady and Reese for the appointment by assuring them that there are no 9 month immunizations, and wouldn't you know that they had to get 1 of 2 flu shots! They handled it really well, but I guess I am going to have to call ahead from now on! Here is some of their growth information . . .

Brady
20 lbs 6 oz (50%)
27 3/4 inches long (25%)

Reese
18 lbs 12 ounces (50%)
26 3/4 inches (25%)

They are currently taking a snooze, and I am sure they will wake up with lots of energy and special requests of their mommy!

Birthday party

We went to our babysitter's daughter's birthday party on Sunday, and it was really cute. Brady and Reese must have just stared at all the kids running around playing for an hour before they joined in the fun! Birthday parties sure do look like a lot of hard work. Are they too young to just offer the money for shopping?

Rocky

Well, now that Reese is crawling we are in big trouble. Fortunately, they are crawling and chasing after each other right now. It will be a different story when they start going in different directions. Reese got her first black eye, but it didn't seem to phase her much. She thinks she looks like a boxer.

We also have a new Elmo puppet. Reese loves it, but Brady has his moments when he is a little suspicious!

We are everywhere!

Brady is teaching Reese some new tricks. I went to change her diaper, and when I came back, he was inside his toy basket. He didn't look too upset to be caught!

I fought the nap and the nap won

Brady has decided lately that naps are the enemy, but the naps usually win!

Our Little Football Fans!

Well, the Saints did not look as cute as our kiddos did during the game! Reese said she was a little disappointed that she didn't get a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader outfit, but we didn't feel those short shorts were appropriate until she is at least 2! I am attaching some pictures of their outfits!

9 Months Old!

Yesterday Reese and Brady turned 9 months, and it was another big day! Reese started crawling and trying to pull up! I guess she got tired of seeing Brady roaming around the room, so she has decided to join him. Help! I knew the day would come when they were both mobile, but it sure got here quickly!

We think Brady may be getting in his top teeth based on all our past experience with teething a few weeks ago. We will keep you posted!

Our Baptism Weekend!

We had a wonderful time this weekend with family in town and family and friends joining us for Brady and Reese's baptism on Sunday. It was a wonderful celebration and very special for Gary and I to be able to join the church at the same time as the baptism. Reese kept grabbing at the preacher's bracelet and Bible, but the show went on! They both were so pooped from their big moment that they slept through the rest of the service. That is pretty rare these days!

We had a great time playing with cousin Taylor and soon-to-be official cousin Cameron. I am attaching some of our pictures of first bath together, play time, and opening presents. I will have actual pictures at the church during the baptism at a later time.
