"Big Play Group"

I'm sure you have probably noticed that my entries have gotten shorter and shorter. There really isn't a whole lot to say. The pictures do a better job painting a picture than I can with words! Besides that, I also write on the caringbridge site, and my life isn't exciting enough to put outrageous news on both. Thank goodness for that!

"Big Play Group"

Here are some pictures with our friends at "Big Play Group." I didn't get any of Nathan, because he and April left before I got my camera out. We went to a picnic afterward at the park, and they ran wild. Can you believe they didn't take a nap? Yeah. I couldn't believe it either.

Back on the Tumblebus!

We are back on the Tumblebus! We have a much better response this time than last! The kids have been talking about it for awhile, so they were excited to start yesterday. They may be in the paper on Sunday. A reporter was there taking pictures and names, so I will let you know if they are local celebs!

Playing with Merrin

Merrin and Wendy came over to play on Saturday afternoon! You can tell in some of the pictures by the look on Merrin's face she wasn't sure what was going on! I thought she handled it really well. Brady was running around and screaming - a sign that he is happy with your presence. I can see how it may be confusing to people that don't know us well!

We had a great time

First day of school!

Brady and Reese wanted to take pictures with their fancy new school bags. When Gary and I looked at the pictures this evening, they looked so old! It is amazing to see how much they have grown.

They seemed to have enjoyed their first day. When they were loaded back into the car, the teacher said that Brady didn't want to leave. Apparently, he was given some red playdo, and he decided he wasn't finished. They have no idea what is in store for them!

On our way to school!

I like the system of getting the children out of the car rather than me parking and bringing them in. Of course, that would be nice if I could do that everywhere I go. Wouldn't that save me a lot of time? Anyway . . . they popped right on out and walked in. Not a tear. It was a great beginning!

The Saints Parade!

We went to the Saints parade at Ochsner today, and it was a lot of fun. The kids had a great time marching through the halls with their pom poms and throwing stuff for the spectators. Brady even launched a "prize" at the news camera.

Brady Chooses the Band over the Cheerleaders

Good boy! Reese posed like a champ with the cheerleaders, but the other picture shows Brady running. I can see how they would be a little scary. I tried to get him in the shot, but they couldn't hold him there!

Our friend, Gumbo

The kids really hammed it up with Gumbo! You may remember from a previous post that they hung out with Gumbo at the Heart-to-Heart kids party. Reese is immediately drawn to him, but Brady is still slow to warm up. By the end, he was rolling on the floor for them! Too cute.

New Play Group

Here are some pictures of our fabulous play group! The kids have so much fun, and I have noticed them spending a lot more time on each activity, rather than them tearing through the whole place and being destructive after 30 minutes. I think they could stay there for hours, and the ladies that work their are fabulous! They also get to play with their friend, Hayden.

Baking with Mommy

We have been doing a lot of baking together lately! Brady enjoys licking the bowl so much, that he chose 2 spoons to make sure nothing was wasted!

Visit to the Aquarium

We had so many cute pictures from the aquarium, there is no way I could post them all. I am glad Gary got to make a trip with us, since he was off work. It helps remind him how much exercise you get when you are chasing them around . . . especially in public!

Meet the Teacher

Here are my happy campers (including Baby with her hair done) getting ready to go meet their teacher!
