Hats

I just wanted to post a few pictures I took from playing "hats" the other night. Everyone gets to wear one (including baby).

Dinner with the Bertaut Family

Brady and Reese were invited to have dinner with Emma, Evan, and the rest of the Bertaut gang on Saturday night. We are always up for pizza, so Gary and I tagged along (we know who the true guests were!). All the kids have grown so much since they last played, but we had a wonderful time. My kiddos tore up there house, and showed them how the Napolitano's love to eat! They definitely got that from Gary and I! We shot some cute pics while visiting!

Playing with Piper

It was so nice to see my children playing with my best friend's child. They had such a good time screaming at the top of their lungs and running around my parents' house! Sweet headache. They were really so adorable together that it makes it much harder to leave from our visit!

Ragan and Justin

Thank you both so much for entertaining us during our visit. We really enjoyed the pool, your new home, and we look forward to our new family addition in October! You guys were very generous, and we had a wonderful time!

Visit from friends

We were so lucky to have Tiffany and her fiance Vance drive from Amarillo to visit! They had to pick up their boys from Tiff's Mom, so it was perfect timing! Nanna and Papa graciously gave us time alone and took the kiddos to their home after dinner, and Ragan and Justin let us hang out at their house for the evening! It was great to see HS and college friends. It was just like we never left!

Playing at Nanna's and Papa's

Lots to do at Nanna and Papa's house! It was so beautiful outside while we visited, the kids wanted to be out there all the time! Who could blame them?

4th of July

We were lucky enough to celebrate Lesley's BIG birthday with her (we won't mention which one!). We also had family portraits made, and so we are looking forward to seeing those since it is always fun to have 2 toddlers cooperate! They were very interested in the rabbits that were brought out, and Brady even decided that they could be pulled up by their ears! Not a good idea. Reese actually held one, too, even though it was mule kicking her. I was very surprised. I think she just imagined that one of her stuffed animals came to life! She loves those things!

It was a great day, and everyone had fun.

Old Neighborhood BBQ!

We were invited over for a BBQ with our good friends and old neighbors in Greenwood on Thursday. It was a really good time, and great to see new grandchildren and good friends. The kids had a great time in the wagon and running around the yard. Taylor was great playing with Brady and Reese, but Reese was a little suspicious of the swing!

Swim Time

Swimming at Justin's house

We had a great time with our first swimming experiences, as I knew we would! The kids loved the water, and were a little too brave for my liking! They tried to escape us several times for the deep end, but luckily we had lots of hands to prevent that! I am going to have to do several posts to put up the fun swimming pictures. We were so lucky to have Katie and Piper join us!

Cooperative play?

Well, I didn't think it would happen any time soon, but the kiddos have started to realize that they can be a benefit to each other. Last night we caught them pulling each other in their little musical wagon around the house. They thought it was hillarious! We were pretty entertained, too. I was a little surprised Reese could haul Brady, but she seemed to have no problems! Sharing is not real common in our household, so this was a rare treat to see them take turns without prompting. Reese's idea of sharing is taking what you have and "trading" for what she doesn't want. Brady insists on you sharing with him by telling you thank you over and over again until he takes it (when Reese doesn't get the hint)! They are so fun to watch. They run around the house shreeking at each other as if they are playing chase. Their laughs bring a lot of sunshine into our lives!

Birthday party

We are starting to really have a nice little toddler social calendar these days! Nothing to overwhelming . . . birthday party here, play date and picnic there, etc. It really is fun to see them in action. Here are some pictures from a birthday party we went to last weekend.

Water Play

Well, it is already hot. We have purchased a few items to make it reasonable for the kids to go outside at least for a little while. I think I am going to have to get in if we stay out more than 30 minutes! They really love the water, so we can't wait to get them to a real pool!

Room View

We had a great view from our room in San Diego. As you can tell by Reese's picture, they even enjoyed tearing up the hotel room!
