School Fair

We went to one of the local school fairs this weekend to support Brady and Reese's friend Clare in her first pageant. I have some great pictures of the winner that I would love to post on the blog, but she might be able to charge me a fee now that she is a "Toddler Miss" queen! Cecil and Gayle were their to cheer her on as well. We had a good time!

End of the Day

By the end of the day, our little festival go-ers were pooped out. They must have partied too hard!

Flinstones Pictures!

Meet the Flinstones!

You guessed it. We were the Flinstones for Halloween. We decorated our trunk for "Trunk or Treat" as the Flinstones fancy ride and gave out "prehistoric" candy and toys. It was a little fun event they had at our church. Brady and Reese were part of the props, and we even one a birdhouse from the Dollar Store for "Best Costume that matched the trunk" theme. I don't know if that was the exact title. That is just my translation. Anyway . . . here are some of the pictures. There will probably be more to come as a family, because my camera conveniently went dead right before we had a group picture!

Pumpkin Patch . . . take two!

We tried the Pumpkin patch again, since they were a little less grouchy and we were already on the premises. It turned out to be a little more fun with Brady trying to eat the pumpkins, Reese trying to stand on them, etc.

Festival pictures

Fall Festival

Our church had a small fall festival this weekend that we went to. The weather was beautiful, and we had a great time. Gary and I tasted most of the gumbo in the "gumbo cook-off," and the kids were able to see their friend Clare. I am going to attach several pictures.

Pajamas party

We were finally able to put on some cold weather pajamas . . . thank you Aunt Lisa and Uncle Bill! We have really been enjoying the cooler weather, and it has given us more opportunity to be outside with the kids, since it was way too hot before. These are some pictures of how our evenings go!

Saints game

We invaded Uncle Darrin's house for the Saint's game on Sunday. He cooked burgers, and we had a real good time!

Pumpkin Patch

I volunteered at the church's pumpkin patch this weekend, so Gary brought Reese and Brady up to visit. Apparently the hay and the pumpkins were not real appealing to our 10 month olds. I guess we need to give them a couple more years!

The kids are sitting with Clare, our babysitter's daughter, on the hay stack. They really love seeing her, but it didn't help this time! Brady kept trying to eat the picture props!

Playing with Daddy

The floor is fair game now, so be careful when you come to visit. They usually try the team approach and come at you at the same time!

Brady and the camera

Something about the camera brings out Brady's "I'm doing something evil" smile! I could not resist sharing this picture!

Playing together

We have discovered that we are already best friends and rivals for attention. They laugh at each other more than they ever do of anyone else. They will also both tackle you at the same time to be held!

Reese updating the blog

Reese decided to help me out on updating the blog while she was hanging out with her Daddy. I think she was really just teaching him how to use the computer!

Weekend

We had a great weekend with no big plans. Every weekend seems to bring us something new. Reese started pulling up by herself on Saturday! She had done this a few times before, but now she is a pro. She already inflicted another black eye (or large red bump) on herself, and we have just returned from Wal Mart, and I purchased gates. I guess I am going to have to make the living room into baby prison. I think it is the only way we will all survive. They are fast! At least for the time being they tend to follow each other in the same direction!
