KKC Zoo Day

This past weekend we participated in the Kid's Kicking Cancer Zoo day to raise awareness for childhood cancer and research. We were able to spend the day with some of the people that I work with, as well as some of the families that have come to the hospital where I work for treatment. Brady and Reese were also able to see their friends from Ms. Dayna and Mr. Al's house! It was a little hot, but overall a good day. We took them to the petting zoo part, but they seem to have just as much interest in Spike and Tuffy. Reese has started laughing her head off when Spike walks by. We are hoping this doesn't give Spike a complex, but it is quite entertaining! They like Tuffy's jump from one couch to the other, so we call on the cats during their grouchy times!

Happy late Father's Day!

We enjoyed our father's day by showering the daddy in this house with love! By that I mean that I was the one to get up at 5:00 rather than guilt him into it! I am sure he appreciated that extra 1 1/2 hours! That is priceless these days!

We went to Reese and Brady's 6 month appointment today. That received their next round of immunizations, but now they are through until 12 months. They are doing really well and growing soooooo much! Here are their numbers . . .

Brady
weight 17 lbs 14 ounces (50-75%)
height 26 1/4 inches (50-75%)
head 50-75%

Reese
weight 16 lbs 4 ounces (50-75%)
height 24 3/4 inches (10-25%) Whew who! We finally made the charts! This is a huge jump for her since she was not on the charts 2 months ago
head 50%

It is amazing that they have come so far. We are enjoying their little personalities every day. They keep us busy and very happy.

Lots of love to you all!

June 3, 2007

Brady and Reese are noticing each other more and more every day! Yesterday they were both sitting on my lap, and Reese leaned forward and started yapping right in Brady's face. His look was a cross between amused and terrified, but he came around! They beat on each other, laugh at each other, and still grab hands. Sometimes they take a little taste of each other, too. Every day something new!
